A Beginner + AI Build a Company: The WA Project Begins

I’m not an expert in running a company.

I’m not an AI specialist, either.

I’m not a programmer, and I’ve never properly studied business management.

…This is going to be fine, right? (laughs)

Still, lately I’ve found something I really, really want to try:

If I make full use of AI, could someone like me actually build and run a company?

That is the experiment.

For now, I’m calling it:

The “WA Project”

The name already sounds bigger than the reality. (laughs)

But I’m quite serious about it.

I’m not trying to begin with a large staff and an impressive office. At first, it will be just me—plus AI.

AI that helps me think about management.

AI that researches.

AI that writes.

AI that generates ideas.

AI that organizes numbers.

AI that automates work.

If all of that truly works, maybe “me + a team of AIs” could become a surprisingly capable company.

There is, of course, one small problem:

I don’t really know how to run a company.

Seriously? (laughs)

So I’m starting with the most basic question: “What does a company actually need in order to work?”

And maybe that is exactly where I should start.

If I don’t know something, I can learn it. I can ask AI, study management, try things in the real world, and record what happens.

If something works, I’ll write about it.

If it fails, I’ll write about that too.

If the whole thing stops making sense halfway through, that will probably become a post as well. (laughs)

And if an AI makes a completely outrageous suggestion, I’ll definitely share that.

Little by little, I want to build the systems that make a company run.

“Hetakuso!” Is a Blog About Enjoying the Messy Middle

Rather than presenting a polished success story, I want this blog to capture the process of starting out clumsy and gradually learning how to make things work.

I want to study architecture.

I want to explore real estate.

I want to make pottery.

I want to make music.

I want to work with AI.

…Way too many things, I know. (laughs)

Most people would probably tell me to pick just one.

But honestly—why not?

I want to take a few detours and see where they lead.

And if all these seemingly unrelated interests eventually connect into one larger project called “WA,” wouldn’t that be incredibly exciting?

How Far Can One Human and AI Go?

Right now, I’m truly at the starting line.

There is no company system yet.

There are no AI employees yet.

And my knowledge of management is only beginning.

In other words, I have almost nothing. (laughs)

That is exactly why I want to document everything from here.

This is not a blog claiming, “Here is how to run a company with AI.”

It is a real-world experiment asking:

“Can someone as inexperienced as me actually build a company by using AI?”

I may fail.

The plan may change halfway through.

It may end up becoming a completely different kind of company. (laughs)

But that uncertainty is part of what makes it interesting.

So here we go:

A beginner and AI are building a company.

The WA Project starts now.

Let’s see where this goes. (laughs)
